Vojaĝo is a 2D platformer in which we follow Salem, our player character, as he travels through the journey of his grief.
This school project was made by a group of 5 students, me included, during our first year of Video Game Art. We had 4 months to produce the entirety of the prototype, as a first attempt to produce real content and test our skills - we did the entirety of it, including coming up with the idea and features, the code, the music, the graphics... It was a challenge.
Vojaĝo means "travel", in Esperanto. A language spoken by few, made to show the cohesion between people and encourage communication - that felt like a proper choice for a journey everyone can experience.
